Description	:	Loren L. Sauder, age 93 years, of Archbold, passed away Tuesday morning, March 7, 2017, at Fairlawn Haven Care Center in Archbold. He was born October 2, 1923, near Archbold, the son of Emanuel and Cora (Baer) Sauder. He married Dorthea Good on October 28, 1949, and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2003. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he farmed and learned the trade of moving buildings from his father, and continued the business of moving buildings until his retirement. Sauder, age 93 years, of Archbold, passed away Tuesday morning, March 7, 2017, at Fairlawn Haven Care Center in Archbold. He was born October 2, 1923, near Archbold, the son of Emanuel and Cora (Baer) Sauder. He married Dorthea Good on October 28, 1949, and she preceded him in death on March 27, 2003. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he farmed and learned the trade of moving buildings from his father, and continued the business of moving buildings until his retirement. In retirement he worked at Sauder Village. He enjoyed gardening, being outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, and traveling. He was an active member of the Central Mennonite Church where he sang in the men’s chorus, and a member of the Gideons International. He is survived by three children, Nancy (Dan) Durham of Napoleon, Steven (Rachel) Sauder and Nathan (Kimberly) Sauder, both of Archbold; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; one brother, Edgar (Bonita) Sauder of Archbold; and two sisters, Doris Yoder of Pettisville, and Valetta Bonilla of Aibonito, Puerto Rico. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a granddaughter; one brother, Orval Sauder; and one sister, Lela Sauder. Memorial services will be held on Friday at 4 PM at Central Mennonite Church with Pastors David Elkins and Regina Wenger officiating. Interment will precede in the Pettisville Cemetery.
