Noble & Emily left Ohio in 1850 to 1855 to come to California, during the gold rush. Will of Noble Johnson I Noble Johnson of the County of Placer and State of California, Being ill but sound mind do by these presence, make this my last will and testament and give and bequeath all my estate real and personal of which I may die sirzed and possessed after paying my funeral expences and first debts. (First) to my beloved wife Emily Johnson one third of all the real and personal property and two milck Cows in her own right, during her lifetime. -----------(Second) The balance to be equally divided between Ezra Johnson, Milon Johnson, my two sons, and Ann Marie Robert Sarah Meddaugh my two daughters and Lewis A. Johnson my grandson and son of Isaac Johnson Deceased. The property to be kept or remain together during my wifes lifetime and to receive the benefits of any young stock that may be raised on the farm and if it is necessary she may sell the latter at her own will. ----------And hereby appoint my beloved wife Emily Johnson and William E.
