He was born August 6, 1932, at Archbold, the son of Jay and Dorothy (Lovejoy) Ziegler, and married Lucille "Buzz" Miller on October 27, 1956. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he worked for Miller Bros. Construction in Archbold for 49 years. He was an avid Watch Fob collector. Ziegler, age 79 years, of Archbold, passed away early Thursday morning, November 10, 2011, at the Toledo Hospital. He was born August 6, 1932, at Archbold, the son of Jay and Dorothy (Lovejoy) Ziegler, and married Lucille "Buzz" Miller on October 27, 1956. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, he worked for Miller Bros. Construction in Archbold for 49 years. He was an avid Watch Fob collector. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the American Legion B.L.W. Post 311. He was also a member of St. John's Christian Church in Archbold. He is survived by his wife, Lucille "Buzz"; two daughters, Karen (Ron) Rice of Archbold, and Kristi (Greg) Eberhardt of Richfield; four grandchildren, Dinah and T.J. Rice, and Sam and Ben Eberhardt; and a sister, Corrine Gaylord of Maumee. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, James Ziegler. Services will be held on Monday at 10:30 AM at St. John's Christian Church with Pastors Erich Christman and Adam Just officiating. Interment will follow in the Archbold Cemetery with Military Rites by the American Legion B.L.W. Post 311. Friends may call at St. John's Christian Church from 3-8 PM on Sunday. The family suggests that memorials be given to St. John's Church or the Kidney Foundation of NW Ohio.
