Charles Edward: 30 Jun 1930' d. 7 Jun 1973 OBITUARY: Cumberland Evening Times (Cumberland, Maryland), Mon., 25 Nov 1963 OAKLAND - Roy Victor Friend, 76, died last night at his home in McHenry following an illness of six months. Born in Sang Run, he was a son of the late McClelland and Delia (Friend) Friend. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Grace A. (DeWitt) Friend; four sons, Everett, Carlton, James, and Charles Friend, all of McHenry; a daughter, Mrs. Henry DeWitt, Sang Run; two brothers, Leslie E. Friend, McHenry, and Ralph Friend, Sang Run; two sisters, Mrs. Odessa Bishoff, Miami, and Mrs. Edna Faust, Pittsburg, 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. The body is at the Leighton-Durst Funeral Home. Service will be conduced at 2. p. m. at Sang Run Methodist Chruch and interment will be in the church cemetery. (Transcribed by Ronn E. Friend)
