Description	:	Thelma Pauline, daughter of Clark and Fay Kinney, came into this life October 31, 1915 and passed away, January 28, 1927, at the blossom age of 11 years 3 months and 15 days. To mourn her going and cherish lasting remembrances of her tenderness and sweetness are father, mother, brother and four grand-parents, school mates and friends. The last service was held from the home at 11 o'clock Sunday morning conducted by Rev W E Ludwick. Burial took place in Ridgeway Cemetery. The family have the sympathy of the entire community as was shown by the large number of sympathetic friends that drove over the almost impassable roads to attend the last services. Many friends were present from Topeka and Overbrook. Mrs Voorhese, a sister of Clark Kinney, of Oklahoma City came Saturday evening also Mr and Mrs Clyde Dickson:Mrs Garritt from Manhattan, Kansas: Mrs Fenwick of Burlingame: Mrs Scott Dickensheets and Mrs Lucy Vail of Emporia and Mr and Mrs Charles Beach, OF Topeka. Carbondale Record-Wed Feb 2, 1927-pa 1 col 3 Thelma Pauline Kinney, the daughter of Mr and Mrs Clark Kinney, died at the home of her grandfather, Lewis Kinney, at Topeka Friday of last week. She had been at a hospital there and had gone to her grandfather's that morning. The funeral services were held at the Kinney home three miles east of Carbondale at 11 o'clock Sunday.
