She was born Aug. 18, 1926, in Archbold, the daughter of Harmon and Edna (Heater) Schroeder, and married Robert Schang on June 7, 1945. A lifelong resident of the Archbold area, she was a homemaker, and worked at the former Fish's 5 &10, Bernath's Grocery Store, Scott Port- A-Fold, all in Archbold, and Essex Flashlight in Wauseon. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Harold and Leroy Schroeder.
