Ketchum, 80, of 1373 Zilke Street, Niles, Mich., passed away on Monday, Aug.25, in her home. Wanda was born Aug. 31, 1922, in Buchanan, Mich., to Joseph and Georgia Forgue, who preceded her in death. She was a lifetime area resident, and worked as a professional cook. She was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church, Niles. On June 11, 1941, in Buchanan, Wanda married Howard W. Ketchum, who preceded her in death in 1996. Wanda is survived by four sons, Louis Ketchum, Norman Patrick (Barbara) Ketchum and Jimmie Ketchum, all of Niles, and Brian (Susan) Ketchum of Granger, Ind.; and by five daughters, Robin (Richard) Hojara and Tracie (Terry) Edquist, both of Niles, Cerese (Richard) Riggens and Kristine (Russ) Hosler, both of Buchanan, and Bridgette Ketchum of Kalamazoo, Mich. She also leaves 18 grandchildren and 17 great- grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Howard William Ketchum Jr., and a daughter, Stephanie Ketchum. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m.on Wednesday, Aug.27, in First Missionary Baptist Church, 2325 U.S.12, Niles, and will be officiated by Pastor Dan Miller. Memorials may be made to Hospice at Home, 2626 W.John Beers Road, Stevensville, MI 49127. The family would especially like to thank Hospice at Home, Dr. Vincent Henderson and his nurse, Jill.
