Virginia the only child of Boyd and Alma (Jacobs) Worley, was born September 27, 1929, at Norfolk, NE. Virginia was raised in Wisner, Nebraska, by step-father, Harry Wagner, and mother, Alma. Virginia was married to Randall Thies, and to this union, two children were born: Greg Thies and Lana Thies. On March 25, 1972, Virginia married Donald Pearson, a widower with six children, and he was the love of her life! Virginia gained six step children that she compassionately loved, cared for and raised as her own: Larry, Robert, Richard, Douglas, Jeffrey, and Patricia. Virginia was a stunningly gorgeous woman with a compassion for dogs. She has had several dogs throughout the years, in which she cared for like they were her children. Survivors are: son, Greg Thies; step-children, Larry (Linda) Pearson of Bennington, Nebraska, Robert (Cynthia) Pearson of Wimberley, Texas, Richard (Breelen) Pearson of Windsor, Colorado, Douglas (Carolyn) Pearson of Manchester, Missouri, Jeffrey (Teresa) Pearson of Wimberley, Texas and Patricia Pearson of Lincoln, Nebraska; grandchildren, Trevis (and Melissa) Thies of Norfolk, Ray (and Carla) Winter of Norfolk, Shannon (and Shawn) Cooper of Omaha, Nebraska, and Fabrianne Winter of Omaha; great-grandchildren, Anthony Thies, Thomas Thies, Sydney Winter, Mark Jacob, Corey Sholes, Chad Sholes, Alexa Sholes, Alandra Winter, and Julian Winter Gonzalez; and great-great grandchildren, Jaylen Emory Drapeau and Milee Elizabeth Sanchez Sholes. Virginia was preceded in death by: father, Boyd Worley; mother, Alma (Jacobs) Worley Wagner; step-father, Harry Wagner and daughter, Lana Winter Kolb, who passed away July 15, 2006. Burial was in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Norfolk, NE.
